Bookings now being taken for Saturday morning yoga retreat and afternoon Somatics one, on 23rd March 2024 ! This month’s theme is "How the Octopus Helps Hips and More!" .. Come to explore and develop your hip mobility in a useful way . Too much sitting, and lack of the range of movement that is available to us through the hip joints, can affect not only this area, but from top to toe! We will explore, postures and breathing practices, especially octopus pose , in ways that may prove very liberating! Be curious!! The second half of each retreat is a restorative, yin practice. There will be focus on how breathing practices can help to quieten the mind and relax the body. Restorative postures assist in unravelling and unwinding into a deeply relaxed way of being. So this second phase of the morning is designed to leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and revitalised! Leave in a state of calm to support you into your 2024. The Somatics practices will also approach and benefit the whole body with particular focus on the pelvis. Investment £42.50 /£37.50 If you introduce someone to the yoga/somatic retreats then you receive £5 off your next booking. if you need a bolster….There is a possibility of hiring one, with Covid hygiene precautions in place. To be honest , I was concerned about the last workshop.....not about the virus as I had no doubt Jane would stick to the rules...but more about whether the “ chill out / feeling etc” would be the same. I can honestly say that not only did Jane reassure as by following the government guidelines, but also we all left with the same feeling.
